哥哥帶著泰迪熊寫英文日記(第一篇)

這是寒假時，國小英文老師選出四位小朋友，要他們帶著泰迪熊一人寫二篇英文日記，
目的是要和國外的小朋友交流，了解當地小孩的生活情況。寫完後由老師e-mail到國外

Dear Diary,

It’s almost Chinese New Year, everyone is getting ready for the new year. I’m very excited too.

I saw many people stick long red paper strips with words on two sides of the door. They told me that these are spring couplets. Different kinds of spring couplets have different meanings, some mean “Good luck”, and others mean “Peace”.

After learning about spring couplets, James wanted to write one also. But people don’t use a pencil or a pen to write, they use a writing brush. These writing brushes are soft, so it’s a challenge to write with them. Look! When James finished, he said the words looked like worms.

Spring couplets are very important for Chinese New Year. I hope I can write them next year.                                                                                                                     Teddy  January 22nd, 2013
